Seldom fails Rating:5 out of 5 stars This shuffler has sides that keep the cards in, so unlike others I've used, it seldom errors in the shuffle. My friends and I use it when playing cards and since we are older and suffer arthritis and some have trouble with carpal tunnel, this is an amazing help.
It is a handsome piece also and looks nice on the table.
Great item for playing Texas Hold'em! Rating:4 out of 5 stars We bought the card shuffler for a family party and it worked great. Occasionally a card may get stuck, but overall it is a really great product for the price. We have only used it for one party, so I can't say how durable it is, yet.
The vendor we bought it from provided fast shipping and the item was just as described.
For the price, it is great and saves a lot of time shuffling which makes playing Texas Hold'em very fun!

Good for the Price ($15) Rating:5 out of 5 stars This is a decent card shuffler for the price. If it cost more than $15, I would give it four stars. Split the cards in half, put one half on each side, and hold the button down while it shuffles.
I have only used it for a day, but it will be a lot easier to use this and shift two decks in an out of a Hold 'em game than to try and shuffle after every deal -- makes the game much faster.

On seeing the negative feedback Chips and Games sent me a new one at no cost and contacted me by phone. I was very pleased with the service, and the new shuffler works most of the time. Occasionally cards get stuck and need removed and reshuffled, but this is simple to do. Two decks seem to result in more errors as the cards near the top of the bin.

I liked this one because it had wood pieces to it which made it look a little sturdier than other all plastic types. The wood is not actually solid wood. It is particle board coated with a wood looking contact paper. The rest of the construction is all plastic. However, it does do a pretty good job at shuffling cards. Sure, it gets hang ups and sometimes the cards get stuck but that's nothing a little shimmy can't fix. I usually just tap the top and shimmy the plastic tray and the cards all fall into place. Show me a non-professional cheap card shuffler that doesn't get hang ups sometimes! It takes 4 AA batteries (not included). Over all it's well worth the money and I do recommend it.

3. most cards still in order = 3.
1. put same deck of cards in order
2. shuffled twice by machine.
3. mostcards still in order = 10
4. ran through twice more.
5. most cards in order = 7.
result: threw it in the trash.
