Stopped working after two months
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
We thought this would be a good, inexpensive card shuffler since the Bicycle company also makes decks of cards. Wrong! One side of the shuffler was always pretty sluggish, making the shuffling process uneven. After two months of only occasional use, the other side quit working altogether. We actually took the thing apart to see if it could be repaired (because how many card shufflers does a person really want to purchase), but the plastic gear had slipped and couldn't be moved back into place. Now it's going to the recyling bin. Sure, it was inexpensive, but that doesn't justify the fact that it's basically junk.

Cheap plastic, noisy, not well thought
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
This product is made of a very cheap plastic. It looks awful. If it would have worked well, then, this aspect wouldn't matter, but it's not the case.

The machine is noisy, and it is absolutely not well designed. When your card are shuffled, you struggle to get them out! the suffle "bouton" (a big plastic peace) blocs the recipient!!!

I wouldn't recommand buying this object.

Shuffler needs improvement
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
The shuffler works fine, merging cards in an every-other pattern. However, because the button that operates the shuffler is directly below the tray that holds the shuffled cards, when you try and pull the tray of sorted cards out of the unit, you have to lift the tray - up over the operation bar, and then a few cards hang up inside the unit at the top of the tray opening. This takes the fun away, as you struggle to remove the card tray and other cards. Seems like the time you save by using the unit, is taken away, trying to get the cards out of it.

Wish they would improve the design.

Loud and ineffective
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
When this arrived I tested it for actual random shuffling. If you put the two decks through multiple times you still get big hunks of one and then a hunk of the other. It is also REALLY loud and feels cheaply made. It jams up easily and you have to keep pressing the button to get it finish shuffling. I am returning mine. It's not even worth $2.00. I guess I could stand the irritating and loud noise if it actually randomized the cards, but it does not.

Decent shuffler
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This shuffler is nice for the price. Although at times 4-5 cards would still be in the same order after shuffling. Running it two times would solve the problem, but doing that isn't really saving THAT much time. Fun to have though.

Card Shuffler Review
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
The shuffler does its job quite well. With a brand new deck, however, it's necessary to shuffle several times for a good result. It's a bit noisy, of course, but tolerably so. Certainly a great boon for someone with arthritic hands!

The Bicycle shuffler failed after about 20 shuffles. The vendor immediately sent a replacement which I received within 5 days. The replacement unit seems to be working fine.

Get those loved ones a gift that they will love.. Playing cards is one of the those things older folks still enjoy even thought they cant get around like they used to.. But the fingers are just not as nimble as they once were.. The card shuffler makes the games faster, more enjoyable and easier for all, Its a great gift for yourself or anyone on the family...

Wonderful Peacemaker!

I bought this for my two cousins who play all the time with yugioh cards and neither of them knew how to shuffle. So they were always accusing the other of stacking the deck. This has settled the issue once and for all. They love it. (Now I just need them to not play with the shuffler so much that they break it.)

Does the job
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Not a bad shuffler for the price, as others say it takes 2 or 3 passes for a good shuffle but so far it has worked well.

card shuffler
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Could no longer find this item locally. Amazon had several varieties. This is very efficient, durable, and mixes cards thoroughly. Useful when playing virtually any card game. While somewhat noisy, the duration of the shuffle is brief.

Awesome! A Must-Have For Poker Dealers!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I play poker with my friends sometimes (not with money, mind you), and the card shuffler makes dealing and shuffling so much easier because I am a terrible shuffler. The educational value is a 0 because it doesn't teach you anything, but it is very useful if you enjoy playing a fun game of poker with friends on weekends.

fun with a deck
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This product is great, you don't have to mix the cards with your hands anymore, you just have to press a button and let the fun begin!

Absolute junk. Find a different one! Shame on Bicycle.
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
Granted, I tried to buy the cheapest shuffler I could find for one of our poker players who had a hard time when he was the dealer. Figured I couldn't go wrong with a product with the Bicycle brand. I was wrong. With a fresh 9 v battery the machine's left side mechanism was frozen. It was assembled (In China, go figure) with the left card moving device jammed against the card platform. I turned it upside down and loosened the dozen or so screws and actually got the mechanism to move. But the cards all jammed ~ every time, during the shuffle. If I put 1/4 of the deck on each side of the machine, I got it to work ~ sometimes. Again, you get what you pay for. The silver lining was the amazing and simple procedure amazon laid out to return it. Hope they burn it. Can I give it no star? Ps~ Really? Anyone liked this product? Really?

I should have read ALL the Amazon reviews before I ordered this shuffler
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
I just purchased a Bicycle 1-2 Deck Shuffler from Amazon. It is my first automatic shuffler, and I was trusting that since it was sold as a Bicycle shuffler, they would have the operation mastered. Unfortunately, almost all of the problems had already been listed by former reviewers, and I did not read them all. Oh, well!

The shuffler is noisy. The cards hang up inside the shuffler as the tray is removed.

The right hand side of the shuffler does not feed all of the cards into the chamber, and the last cards need to be hand fed.

Most discouraging, I sorted by suit, and found, as I suspected, the cards are not being well shuffled. I am a senior citizen with rather severe arthritis, and had hoped that this product would be helpful.

Amazon made it very easy to buy; I hope it will be equally easy to return. My advice is: Don't waste your money.

Low Quality Toy
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
Some of these things work for a while and then quit.

A very few last for several hundred shuffles before quitting.

A good idea and design, but the production quality is poor.

Lots of brands, all the same hardware. Just different labels on

identical cheap plastic.

Save your money and learn to shuffle with your hands.

I'm a member of a card club and since I bought the card shuffler it has made the games go a little faster. I bought the 1-2 card shuffler because it is smaller to take on a vacation.

Love my shuffler.

Defective unit
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
This unit showed up defective. Takes one 9V battery. Giving the gears a push, they move a tiny bit, but not enough to move a card. I returned it for a DaVinci.

Jordan can now shuffle the cards
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I purchased this item for my step-son who couldn't shuffle the cards when it was his turn to deal the cards - now he breaks out his card shuffler and is done in seconds.....it helped make him feel more like the rest of us who could shuffle the cards because he no longer as to ask someone else to shuffle for him.

Card Shuffer - Didn't work upon arrival
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
Bought two of these card shufflers in October for Christmas gifts for out of towners. One of them works fine, the other doesn't work - it only shoots one deck of cards through, basically just restacking the one deck (no shuffling). By the time the recipient opened the gift and discovered that it didn't work, it was too late to return.

Cheezy little product but it really works
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
After reviewing a lot of the shufflers I came to the conclusion they are all alike. Differences are # of decks they hold and stickers on the top.

They are made out of cheap plastic but functionally they do what they advertise, they shuffle cards well.

I bought the two deck shuffler I didn't think I needed the the four card one and the right away we played a game requiring 3 decks of cards per round.

The little drawer isn't necessary the cards shuffle fine without it.

I have arthritis and it is a blessing especially if you play bridge, I just dreaded shuffling, now I don't.
