A Survival Guide for Working with Bad Bosses provides readers with savvy, practical advice for coping with managers and supervisors who are mean, incompetent, unethical, and worse. The book includes powerful strategies for not only working with -- but thriving under -- such bad boss types as: * The Great Betrayers -- how to defend yourself against a corporate backstabber * The Know-Nothing Bosses -- what to do when a boss is clueless * The Bad Communicators -- how to respond when a boss is consistently unclear Whether a boss is high-strung, incompetent, or a power-mad tyrant, this book has the solution.

As a Craps player, or a person who always wanted to bet on Craps but found you were too intimidated, read on to put your mind at ease when it comes to winning money at Craps. Playing craps is not so daunting when you understand the clear and concise reasons for everything that's happening (rapidly) on the craps table during play.

Read on to see how simple winning Craps money can be.

At first, there seems to be so much to learn and understand. But, after you have grasped the myriad of bets available on the Craps table, what they each mean, and how to play them, you will soon come to see that the majority (eighty percent) of the craps table can and should be ignored.  You will also realize that there are only two general, basic approaches to playing Craps.

The "Right Way" and the "Wrong Way"

There is a tiny minority of Craps players that know how to do it Right - by doing it the Wrong way! They know how to get the odds to work in their favor. They know how to place bets which make them the Favorite to win instead of the Favorite to Lose. They know how to get the house advantage to work for them instead of against them.

These are fearless bettors. They are warriors of discipline and patience. They know how to win money at Craps on a consistent basis. They also understand that they are playing Craps to win money, not friends.

In spite of the fact that they are making right plays over and over, they are known as "Wrong Bettors".

The "normal" methods of betting Craps is "Right" betting, and everyone else is "Wrong" - yet the "Wrong" Bettors are winning money - consistently! If you haven't seen it yet, become a Wrong Bettor and watch how suddenly there are copycats at your table - mimicing your bets!

"Wrong Bettors" place bets that are with the house and against the shooters. But who wants to do that? "Wrong Bettors" are shunned and disliked by the "normal" players at the table. Yet the Wrong Bettors are winning money - consistently.

Are you a potential "Wrong Bettor"? You'll have to stand the glares from the other players. You'll have to play craps without making verbal outbursts and cheers. However, there is ONE bet where you can cheer, when you and the "Right Bettors" are betting the same - the come-out roll! (IF you have some "don't bets" lined up).

There are several Sucker bets on the Craps tables, You must avoid them at all costs.  Play ONLY the known solid Money-making bets. The differences are sometimes obvious and sometimes subtle. For example, if the dealers are "pushing the bets" (trying to get action on them), you can safely bet it's NOT a safe bet! They make a lot of money for their employers that way.

Do you know how to place bets against the shooters?

I suggest you never do that, but let the shooter do it for you - just bet the don't come.

Do you know the best way to choose a Casino? ... a table? ... a position at the table?

The answers lie in the odds that are offered. You'll find single odds, double odds, 5x odds, 10x odds etc. Depending on your bankroll, you should take advantage of these higher odds wherever possible. Choosing a table is an art in itself. As a Wrong Bettor, you want a hot table that's about to turn cold. And they all do sooner or later. As for position at the table, stand as close to the dealer as possible because you're going to be using the "don't come" spot very often and the dealer is standing right over it.

Do you know the secrets of when and where to place your bets on the table?

Eliminate 80% of the table - No field, no hard-ways, no center area bets at all.

Do you know Why you should learn to bet "Wrong"?

The easiest answer is because you then become a favorite to win!

Do you know when and especially why to stop making bets?

This is the answer to your dreams. This is what separates the guessers from the knowledgeable players. You must begin with a bankroll, you must use only one session's allotment, you should never bet the "rent money", and you must know when to stop betting and just wait for the win. Stop-Loss strategies will make the difference between a winner and a loser.

Do you know which players to bet against and who to skip - and why?

There are lucky players who occasionally beat the odds and roll a monster hand. You must be placing your bets correctly so that they cannot hurt you. You must not "chase" them either.

Do you know the odds of rolling any particular number?

Get yourself a chart with all the dice combinations and you'll quickly see why Wrong betting is Right!

Once you learn the correct Wrong Bettors' Strategies, and with developing discipline and patience, you will be well on your way to becoming a "Wrong Bettor" and you'll win money at Craps - Consistently!

Deluxe crate edition features the remastered Let It Be CD and t-shirt, all together in a black crate! Amazon.com Review Sloppy in conception, and even sometimes in the playing, Let It Be often gets a bad rap. Unfairly, as it's often as charming, well written, and (oh yeah) rocking as the Beatles' "better" albums; it's also more outright fun than Abbey Road, the masterpiece it followed into the stores. With Lennon and McCartney working together on the perfect "I've Got a Feeling," "Two of Us," and "Dig a Pony," it's hard to believe these guys were about to implode. --Rickey Wright Track listing: 1. Deluxe crate edition features the remastered Abbey Road CD and t-shirt, all together in a white crate! Amazon.com Review The Beatles' last days as a band were as productive as any major pop phenomenon that was about to split. After recording the ragged-but-right Let It Be, the group held on for this ambitious effort, an album that was to become their best-selling. Though all four contribute to the first side's writing, John Lennon's hard-rocking, "Come Together" and "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" make the strongest impression. A series of song fragments edited together in suite form dominates side two; its portentous, touching, official close ("Golden Slumbers"/"Carry That Weight"/"The End") is nicely undercut, in typical Beatles fashion, by Paul McCartney's cheeky "Her Majesty," which follows. --Rickey Wright Track listing: 1. Come Together 2. Something 3. Maxwell's Silver Hammer 4. Oh! Darling 5. Octopus's Garden 6. I Want You (She's So Heavy) 7. Here Comes The Sun 8. Because 9. You Never Give Me Your Money 10. THQ Dance Paradise 55308 Xbox 360 Games

Dance Paradise is multiplayer Rhythm-Music game exclusively developed for play on Xbox 360 that utilizes Microsoft Kinect technology. The most advanced Dance game to date designed for use with Kinect, Dance Paradise features extensive two player versus play modes. It also contains 40 tracks, each with a corresponding music video viewable as players mimic the dance moves that are queued. Additional features include: a six level Career mode, the ability to pick the tracks you want to dance to in Free mode, Xbox LIVE Avatar integration and more. Now Everybody Can Dance Get ready to party with your friends and dance together with no controllers in Dance Paradise. Dance Paradise utilizes the camera based motion capture technology built into the Microsoft Kinect system (sold separately). Once Kinect is installed, correctly placed in the room and has mapped the tracked points of an individual player's body, your body in effect becomes your controller. No more buttons, no more dance pads, just your body moving to the the groove and as prompted onscreen. Dance Paradise is also the most advanced Kinect based dance game. It comes with the most music of any Kinect dance game released to date - 40 original hit songs from the hottest artists, like Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Taio Cruz and more, and original video content that accompanies the music tracks. Finally, Dance Paradise is the only Kinect game to give you both the artist videos and true head-to-head multiplayer action to make a real party game, whether you are dancing or just observing. Utilize advanced Microsoft Kinect technology. View larger. A training mode in single player to work on the dance moves you will need. View larger. Choose your favorite tracks to dance to in single player Free mode. View larger. Utilize power-ups to unleash on an opponent in multiplayer Attack mode. View larger. Watch and listen to videos by original artists in Video Box. View larger. Gameplay Dance Paradise is designed to measure players' ability to perform queued dance moves, but unlike other dance games which deal in simple directional movement, detailed accuracy is key here. This is made possible through the real-time motion capture abilities of Kinect. Gameplay in Dance Paradise is based around the game's four color-coded dance lanes. As music tracks and videos run in the background and your Xbox LIVE avatar cheers you on from themed game environments, two-dimensional representations of the dance move you are to mimic slide down the dance lanes towards you in a conveyer belt fashion at the center of the screen. In the few seconds that it takes for these representations to reach the bottom front of the screen they have repeated the move several times. At the end of each lane is a virtual dance pad, which when reached by the two-dimensional figure is your queue to mimic the dance move. A variety of the possible moves slide down all four lanes with players hopping laterally to adjacent dance pads to unleash their versions of them. Moves are rated in real-time and proceed in rhythm with the track. Successful moves fill the player's in-game vitality bar, while unsuccessful attempts subtract from it. Your game ends if the bar is completely drained. Play Modes Dance Paradise features multiple game modes in both single player and multiplayer. Single player modes include: Free Play, in which you can queue up the tracks you want and dance away to your heart's content; Training Mode where you can practice the individual moves that you will see in in-game action; and Career Mode - 6 progressive game levels, each of which contain specific challenges that must be met before you can move on to the next. Two player multiplayer modes include: Attack mode, a mode in which after filling their vitality bars players can unleash power-ups that throw off the dance moves of opponents; Versus mode, where players dance off to the same tracks with the winner being the most accurate; and Synchro mode, a cooperative play option where two players must dance in synch to the same track and moves. Many people want to be good guitarists. To be clear, when I say "good guitarist" I mean guitar-hero-good, not local-bar-playing-good. However, there are few people out there who actually achieve this level of ability. Certainly, I have not. However, I would still like to comment on what I think makes a good guitarist. It is not the focus of this essay to comment on lightning fast fingers or a solid rhythmic ability. I do not believe that a good guitarist needs to have perfect pitch or supersonic sight reading abilities. My goal is to identify qualities of great guitar players that transcend any stylistic considerations. There are great guitarists in every genre of music and my goal is to identify what they all have in common.

The first and probably most important quality of a good guitarist is desire. Whether you are a finger-pickin' country hillbilly or a death metal shredder, you have to want to be a guitarist. A lot of people wish they were guitarists - like when a chick is around that they want to impress, or right after they get their favorite artist's new album - but I am talking about a real burning desire to only play guitar. You have to eat, sleep, and think guitar. This desire is what will drive you to continue practicing when all your friends are out on the town or when the newest movie hits the theater or when the home-team makes the play-offs. Ask any great guitarists out there, guitar is number one.

Secondly, to be a good guitarist, you have to listen to guitar music, or at least music in general. This may sound obvious but I once knew this guy who wanted to be a writer. He always talked about it at opportune social moments and he liked to fill a big chalkboard in his dorm room with all of his "profound" scribblings. The problem was, he never read anything. As you may have guessed, he was not a very good writer. To be good at anything, you have to be familiar with the body of work that has been done before you. This goes for anything. Imagine a person trying to be a great chemist without learning what was in any of the chemistry textbooks. You have to know what has been done before you so you can see where you contribute. The best guitarists are students of the instrument.

Finally, to be a good guitarist, you have to have the ability to practice - and no, not everyone has this ability. To illustrate, for the next two weeks I want you to practice guitar for one hour per day. 80% of readers will not make it past a few days and 99% of readers will not have the perseverance to make it the entire two weeks. Great guitarists have practiced four or five times this much for years! Practicing is a skill that good guitarists have mastered. It is much easier for individuals who have the burning desire I was talking about earlier. I guarantee this, good disciplined practice will trump talent any day of the week.

So there it is. That is my version of what makes a good guitarist. Sure, you can write me off as someone with too much time on his hands and someone who needs to get off his soapbox. Let me say that I will be the first to tell you that I do not possess these three qualities - most of all the desire. Before you write me off though, ask yourself how many people you personally know with all three of these qualities. Then ask yourself how many guitar heroes you personally know. I rest my case.
